FAQs

WHO DOES CONEXT WORK WITH?

We work with privately-held companies in manufacturing and banking industries as well as religious and educational non-profit organizations.

WHAT KIND OF SERVICES DO YOU PROVIDE?

While we occasionally provide standalone executive coaching, we typically provide a wider scope of services to clients, working with them to assess and develop their leadership teams, clarify vision and values, build healthy organizational culture, strengthen board functionality, and guide strategic planning. We also love to help privately-held companies in leadership transitions. We understand the unique and sometimes complex dynamics of family ownership and have a track-record of honoring legacy while successfully passing leadership to the next generation.

HOW DO I KNOW THAT CONEXT WOULD BE A GOOD FIT FOR MY ORGANIZATION?

We are selective in whom we work with because we believe that building deep, lasting relationships based on trust and shared values is essential to meeting our clients' goals. We lead with our values and want you to be true to yours. We’ll work with you to determine if we’re a good fit before agreeing on an engagement.

WHAT IS THE PROCESS OF DEVELOPING AN ENGAGEMENT WITH CONEXT?

We’ll set up a no-obligation meeting to hear about your goals and discuss ways CONEXT can help you reach them. We’ll talk about our approach and specific ways we help organizations in succession planning and leadership development. If we both think that CONEXT is a good fit, our team will then develop a proposal for engagement.

WE ARE A FAMILY-OWNED COMPANY BUT ARE SEVERAL YEARS AWAY FROM TRANSITIONING TO THE NEXT GENERATION OF LEADERSHIP. IS IT TOO EARLY TO START PLANNING?

If you are contemplating a leadership transition, it is never too early to start. While organizations can make successful transitions on an aggressive timeline, the likelihood of success increases with the amount of advanced planning. We recommend a three to five-year transition timeline.
